sweeping coil

When sweeping my coil should i stay above the grass or should i scoff the grass?
 
I say get down in it, otherwise you could be losing a couple inches of depth. It's kind of like when you sweep your coil, you aren't supposed to be like a pendulum, your supposed to sweep with your coil level to the ground your whole sweep. My opinion. Lets see what others say>
 
My coil is skimming the ground. Get as close as you can and still be able to move the coil..........
 
I agree with the other two. Trust me, you are going to thank me for this as you won't forget now...
