Sweep Speed

I'll be getting my Explorer Monday and I was wondering if the sweep speed is slow or fast on this machine. I think I read that the Explorer has a very slow sweep speed. can anyone help?

The Explorer has a very slow sweep speed. When detecting in trashy ground, use a slow sweep speed. When detecting in open "clean" ground with little or no trash signals, sweep faster - this will allow the Explorer to make the very deep targets sound much better. Always match the sweep speed with the number of targets in the ground. Ideally you want to sweep fast enough to hear each target individually from each other and not run over or blend into each other. Hope this helps, Mike.
