Sweep speed in All Metal Mode

gobum62

New member
Had my Golden for a little while so decided to try All Metal Mode and was wondering if the sweep speed matters. Threshold just to where I hear it, width knob to 2:00 clock setting and disc knob at arrow?
Thanks
Mike

Using wide notch is a good idea for trashy areas and works great, Not Sold on the all metal mode but guess that is where u are suppose to start with a new machine.
LOVE MY GU!

All metal is faster than in disc mode, but I would use it mostly with the notch off and set the width using the nickel to get the higher tone as for using AM to hunt in heck no that's why I have a multiple tone machine, and use the wide notch to clean up the audio sometimes, but I can tell it hits harder on high conductive targets than my Atpro, the two machines have similar high tones, which is pretty cool but the biggest assist for this machine is the CSC which is basically a DD , toe/ heel PP and will clear an area quick. Gumax is a good machine! Hank!
