Sweden moving toward cashless society

This was the headline from a news story I saw this morning. Makes me shudder. It certainly would bring out hobby to a halt in a hurry. In the story they talk about many businesses who no longer accept cash..(makes me wonder about the fate of banks?) the sad part is, I can see the USA moving in that direction too. Astounding the number of people thatI know who never carry cash anymore. And then thers's me....I don't own a credit card and always use cash when possible. JJust thought I'd pass this on.

I think our government will move us in this direction eventually. It's already happening to some extent; I know people who never carry cash and use their bank card for everything.
The IRS would love this, because they could track every penny we make and spend, to make sure they get all the money "owed" to the government. And if they're looking for you, they can track you by your purchases, or even block access to your money.
Someday, they'll even do away with the plastic cards, and just put a mark on our hands or forehead "for security and convenience."

[size=large]the Rothchilds first thought of this in the 1200s. you'll hardly ever catch me with any coins or cash in my pockets. the entire world is moving to the international dollar.
