Swankey24 - Welcome to the CMD Forum - sorry I missed your post the other day

The hunt was held here in Michigan (Kalamazoo/South Haven areas). We had problems getting this laptop on line and haven't been able to keep up with the posts so I apologize for not answering sooner. In a few minutes this computer will be packed up and will be back home later tonight.

Where abouts are you Swankey24 and what kind of detecting are you interested in? We have a wealth of knowledge to gain from from the experiences of so many detectorists here and they are all great people/Borthers & Sisters of Christ and of course metal detector users. We represent a wide spectrum of detectors too so whatever you have I am sure someone is familiar with it or a similar unit.

Hang around. Post pics of your finds so we can share you enjoyment and excitement.

I am located in anderson south carolina. I have been detecting for about five years. I do not get to do it to much due to work conflicts. I currently use a Tesoro Conquistador but I am looking at a water detector. Any sugestions for under 600 dollars appreciated.

Its just over $600 but I sure like the whites beach hunter ID. I've had mine for around 4 or 5 years and have had no issues and like it
God bless

We have another regular from SC. For the money you are looking for a Fisher 1280X The thing is built like a tank. I know a great Christian dealer that has some used machines. Let me know if you are interested. many of us here buy from him!

Mike, could you send me his info. I will contact him when I am ready to buy.
My email is swaney24@charter.net

Being I live in Michigan I cant say how it works in salt water. Sure works great in the fresh stuff though.
God bless
