I went out with my trusty CZ-3D in hand. But this time I wasn't lookin for coins or gold or even "old treasures" just iron! A friend of mine lives in a town where you can't detect! He was trying to build a porch on for this old lady (free) town size-----3000 people. Somebody told someone who told someone and guess what theres the city boys telling him to TEAR IT DOWN! Or get it survayed around 3 to 500$. So he was going to tell her he had no choice but to tear it off. He was telling me about it at work,I thought what the heck. The first hour I found a lot of iron just not the survey stakes. We had a aerial view map to help.Still hard to do! Here comes the cops,I bet they went by 10 times checking on me! I spent about three or four hours on it and found about 25 pcs. of iron. plus 5 or 6 of the stakes plenty for him to do his measuring to keep the porch! I guess you would say I had a good day junk diggen! Plus I now have a new place to metal detect. He owens a lot of old houses in that bitter little town. I;ll be back there Sat. looken for those old coins!!! Ronboy_45
