Went to my local park for my first hunt with my new CS 5MXP,hit my favorite spot the basketball court. And was able to pull up some hard find clad. I have hit this spoy so many times with different detectors. I must say not knowing what to expect from never using a Cscope before I was impressed. I had sensitivity just below audio threshold hum. Disc 1 was at 5 and Disc 2 at 7. I was in normal mode was not using boost . Got to admit I'm sold on the signal needle meter I like it.. Faint or deep targest barely move the needle or make it jump. While good shallow targets make it pop. I already can tell pull tabs with it in first hunt. You get the to loud audio signal to be true (I call it for pull tabs) and it pegs the signal stength meter out. I like the pinpointing too you watch the signal meter where it maxs out over the target when you press the pinpoint button and your dead on your target..The polo coil makes if very easy to center on your target also. where the Y on the coil joins the center of target is right in middle of the two arms of the Y . I found that the CS 5MXP also goes deeper than I care to dig also on deeper audio targets. For my first Cscope I like it. The only thing I would like to see is a 8 inch coil .It comes with a 10" coil and I 'm not use to using a 10 inch coil. I found it to be well balanced all in all, I did a three hour hunt with it before my arm began to feel it.Not bad for this old man LOL It hit very well on the nickles ,dimes and pennies I found only found one quarter today. My take was 1quarter,4dimes,4nickles,7pennies,1coat zipper pull,2 screw caps, and 3 or 4 varies pulltabs.I pretty much could tell when I was digging pulltabs and the screw caps but dug em any way to be sure, ya never know if in doubt DIG! So all in all I'm liking my CScope I give it a thumbs up !
