Surprise findings along the river

I was figuring out where to head off this morning for a hunt. I spoke to my brother and he recommended a specific place on a river. I decided to match up maps from 1934 and present day to view if there was any activity back in the day. Sure enough where it is heavily wooded today use to be an open and cleared area. I don't believe I was exactly on spot and will have to do more investigating. However this area did produce some nice finds including my first SLQ. Also found an Alabama luxury tax token with one of the buffalo nickels.

AT Pro:
GB 94
5x8" coil
disc 10
Pro Zero mode
7 bars sensitivity

Nice finds cograts those SLQ'S are not easy to find...

Nice finds. I can remember spending those dateless SL quarters as a kid in the 60's. I kept everyone with a date for my collection - not many around then.

Man o man good stuff. You may have really found a great spot don't be to quick move on. Thanks for sharing
