Surfmaster II vlf do you use silicon grease on seal? n/t

Thats a good question Rick, i just replaced the o-ring on my surfmaster ll and i was wondering the same.

Not just on my detectors and coil, but I use it on anything where seals and/or moisture are involved.

I was told by White's on my Dual Field that you should replace that seal every year just to be sure. Over time, ozone will attack that rubber and destroy it. They said that goes for any machine that is made like the Surfmasters and Dual Fields.
