Surfgods Smiled On Me Again Today with Gold & Silver!

Worked the Oceanfront again today between 33rd St and the Pier. Ran into Commander Jim, who I haven't seen in a while. Glad to see you back on the beach! Saw Spider again too.

I had quite a nice day again. First, I found the beaded set of what I call "surfer beads" necklace. Then around 5 steel and plated hoop earrings. Found a hanging piece off a small necklace.

The clad total was quite large for today: 20 quarters, 19 dimes, 15 nickels and a pile of pennies.

The good stuff was the small silver rolled bracelet followed by (2) 14k yellow gold & emerald rings. The nicer of the 2 rings is another class ring. This one is 1999 Virginia Tech and is engraved with a first name only so it may be a bit harder to find its owner.

Ring count so far is 3 rings in 3 days.

WTG Ron. I am surprised that you guys over there in VaBeach ever find anything with all the hot detectors that seem to be swinging.

Still waiting for our water to warm up here. Finally got to 68 but not many people in the water yet.
