Do you get discouraged once that sand starts to fill in your local gradual sloping beach? Well, here's a tip that might help you extend your "window of opportunity" sometimes a few weeks after the big blow....

Another good one! Been working through your videos, enjoying and learning. Thank you.

Brian, I have a limited amount of beach detecting but have noticed the same thing. To get the tide action that far up the beach there has had to be a fair amount of wave action throwing the light "stuff" higher than it normally would be located. I believe on any beach the rings are there, you have to read the beach, adapt to the tide and wave action and hunt with most of all, a positive attitude:happy:.
I have since Oct. found 36 rings no small part in viewing your video's and reading Clive's books and having a beach to hunt..

WOW Gerry.....what a great thing to hear from someone! 36 rings huh? Verrrry impressive!! And as far as the targets getting thrown up by the storm tide onto the beach....we have been finding lots of Fishing sinkers near the dunes which is really out of place for this type of heavy target as the vast majority are lost in the water.....so we have found some heavier rings up there as well along with the sinkers....good luck with your future hunts.....go get that gold!!

I just went back and downloaded them all to my laptop, they are informative and inspirational!! HH
