This is so true. A great signal will sometimes disappear after digging. If it's not in the piles of scooped out sand you should always scoop out the bottom of the hole even though you can no longer hear the target. It's amazing how many times you will find something ths way. Great tip!
yes ive had this happen to me a few times..your so right that last few scoops will get it..
