Surf PI headphone upgrade...here's how!

I decided to upgrade the headphones on my Surf PI from the old style Bilsoms to the newer yellow ones.

The first shot is what you see when you open the cover:

Under that are two clips which hold another cover and the circuit board in place:

Here is a shot of the circuit board, silica gel pack, and molex plugs for the headphones and the coil:

Here's an exterior shot of the nut and o-ring that hold the cord in place:

This shot shows the nut and seal that hold the cord in place. This is a good time to put diver's silicone on the o-ring:

Thats really good to see how its done thanks. I would be worried about messing it up but thats just me. Dan
 
Nice easy mod that appears to be a big improvement. I would replace the desiccant while I was in there if it was over a year old.
