Well hello to all just found this forum and have read a lot of good things here. I have just purchased a new Surf Dual Field PI and was wondering if anyone could help me out with settings I know it is a turn on and go no disc which is killing dint have to go to the gym anymore lol. I use this on wet and dry sand and have tried it in fresh water. Just looking for some,e feedback on this big YELLOW mussel maker?

Thanks Butch New Hampshire

There really isn't must to say about the settings. It's a quite basic PI detector. Read your owners manual, or in case you don't have one, download one from Whites site.

Following their suggestions should put you in good shape as far as targets found. It has really been designed as a salt water unit, as there is not the discriminating problems there as on land, or fresh water hunting.

Awful cold today in NH for beach hunting. :)

Yes very cold for beach hunting here today snow on the way tonight and tomorrow plenty of time now to read up on the forums and manuals.
