Surf Church at Horseshoe Bay, Bermuda:thumbup:

I got out for a late spin at Horseshoe Bay, thunder and lightning this am. so had to go with the afternoon hunt instead. The kiteflyers were still out but fewer in numbers than on Good Friday (Bermuda has hundreds of kites in the skies every Easter as part of local custom).
The tide wasn't very low, the waves had a nasty chop to them that had me constantly looking over my shoulder and the sand was mushy under my feet, sounds like near perfect conditions wouldn't you say?:thumbdown:
I found a few pull tabs and even dug a bottle cap before I remembered a tip from Norm at the goldenolde.com; Be Versatile in Your Hunting!
I started working the rocks at the far end of the beach where the waves break and deep in a pocket eroded in the rock I found two silver bracelets:crylol:. I had to fan them out with my hand they were so deep down that pocket. I found a brand new pair of sunglasses 18 inches deep so the sand is really piling up and a gold earring in the wet sand, which I almost never hunt.
It pays to be versatile!

Cheers,
