Sure the snow was flying and it was 27 deg. F.

but that was the only time I had to try out my new Lesche Ground Shark shovel. Besides the snow keeps the ground insulated. Man, can that shovel tear up some lawns. Of course the lawns at these demo-ed houses no one cared. I have had a few signals that I didn't know if I really wanted to dig that deep and find out what it was. NOT, today!! !2", no problem. It was fun to dig deep. No more little digger and picking at the ground.

Today's hunt only yielded two older coins.

My best find was this rouge can. I can't find anything on it on the internet.

Total. The pointy thing is brass and there is an old piece of lead. OK, it wasn't a great day, but I got out!! I work out in it everyday so it wasn't any big deal. Just glad the ground was soft. The next few days we won't get out of the teens.

In the mists of the cold and snow, my orchids are blooming and warm my heart. Yea, I build power plants and grow orchids.

John, Every time i find an old compact and open it to find the mirror still intact i can't help but think that the last person to look in that mirror has passed away, i Know it's terrible to think that way but i do. I found a compact once and shook it sounded like coins inside, i opened it and there was a standing liberty quarter a barber dime and wheat cent in it. A week later my wife finds one with two mercs and a wheat cent. i did get first place in the find of the month at our club for my compact. nice finds john HH.
