Sure is quiet here lately!,,,,,,,,,

tis a dismal turning out for the crew !! They's a waterlogged or something ! See ya in church, steve i nso az

Been busy since coming back from vacation. Work has been especially tough... Had to work yesterday too but went in a little later since I had a doctor's appointment (just routine, everything's fine). Since he doesn't get there til 9, I figured I'd hit the low tide at the beach. Unfortunately, I looked at the wrong tide table and it was HIGH tide. Bummer. Just a few coins.

After Labor Day, I get to hunt the State Parks (off limits until then). One in particular has some really big mulch playgrounds and I've had some success there. Other than that, the ground here is like concrete so I haven't been able to dig dirt, just cherry picking some shallow clad.j

Supposed to cool off tomorrow... going to be in the low 90's today and the humidity at the moment is 85%. (Steve would die  )

On top of everything, I got called for Jury Duty on Sept 12th. Last 2 times I've gone I've been on a case. One was a drug case (I was the Foreman) and I even got sequestered on a Friday night (was supposed to sing at a wedding the next day!). It ended up a hung jury. 2 years ago I was on a case that lasted 2 weeks. Oh well... wonder if I can hunt outside the court buildings? :)

so college kids can move in starting tomorrow. Heard we still have about 400 more (out of 1200) apartments to do. There is more than one crew doing it. Our crew is responsible for 7 different properties. My job is to change any toilet seats that need changing, tightening loose ones that don't need changing and doing other odd jobs as they happen to be in need of being done (testing smoke detectors and changing batteries to those that need it), screwing the outlet and switch plates back on walls if there are off and other things.

I have a nickname the initials of which I am sometimes called "TSP"
which stands for :): Toilet Seat Pete

Went in at 7 AM this morning. Way to early but we did get off work a few minutes early by coming in early.

Hoping all are doing well.

Hi Mike!
How are things in Michigan?
Not too much going on here. My two sons are in baseball playoffs and had games Friday, Sat, and Sunday. Not much time for detecting. Did get out a bit on Friday though. $2.43 in clad is all.
Some good news though, we had a baptism service after church today and three kids were baptised! That was great!
God bless,
MM
