Supposed to be in the low 80's today. So I took my camera to take pics of all the blossoms on my way to the hospital this AM. But I saw this guy out a

This guy was about 8 feet long and just mosying along the bank. Probably casing the ducks and geese. I haven't seen the BIG ones yet, much less Old Leroy (never saw him all last year). But they're out there. I've seen the new mud slides on the bank. A few of them are almost four feet wide. Saw a big Slider (black water turtles), too. He was almost a foot across but couldn't get his pic before he slid into the water....thus the name. ;)

By the way, those little tiny plants see are called Duck Weed. By summer they completely cover the swamp and pond water. They're kinda like a tiny single leaf clover. When they cover the pond folks, not from around here, think it's "scum", but it ain't.
