Well Becky started me out in a courteous way and hooked me up with a Tech..Somewhere along the way I got the idea that an XT-70 was a VCO pinpoint and he advised me its not but does change tones while the block fills up for superior pinpointing. Wel mine only does this for about an inch and obviously pinpoint is in need of repair so its off to Minelab U.S.A. for repair. Just wanted members to know that I reported an XT-70 having VCO in previous post which was in error. Downtime is going to hurt but imagine it will come back as good as new knowing Minelab U.S.A....
