I went back to one of the first places in the park where I found silver and just under the outer boughs of a small pine tree I got a good hit, it was a "62 Rosie. About two feet away I got a good deep quarter hit, it turned out to be a "44 merc. I was more than happy with it but was hoping for something a bit larger, as it turned out...someone was listening. I went to the next pine tree and it was almost open underneath so I stuck my coil in and got a nice hit, it was jumpy and hard to pinpoint but I fooled around with it at different angles until I got a lock. The soil under that tree was so loose that I dug it up with my hands and out pops the walker! I was blown away. I pushed the dirt back in and ran my coil over it again and got another solid hit, I rooted around a little more and unearthed the quarter! After the quarter I was still getting a solid hit with the pro-pointer but it turned out to be a big rusty nail.I ran the coil over it again but all the high tones were already in my pocket I've had a few four silver days before but none that payed out like this one.
