Super Relic Hunt! Got An Old Colonial Shoe Buckle + Other Finds:thumbup:

Spent around 4 hours pacing an old area. I got an old 1793 colonial coin from here a few years back. Today got me a nice colonial buckle.

Here's the buckle. It has a curvature on it to fit on th dorsal aspect of a shoe.

Here's a few more finds from today. I like how they call the old dog tags a tax, which is what they really are.

Below is another silver plated spoon.......another one to form a ring out of.
 
Those are some pretty neat finds!

I have just started out detecting, I'd say about 10 hours in so far and really just trying to learn my detector. ACE 400i and ProPointer AT. Have made some interesting finds, but nothing worth posting yet. I am in Edmonton as well. Not sure if you get the offer much through the forums but I'd love to buy ya a beer and learn from a Pro one day. Going to be heading out for another session today, especially with the weather so nice.
