I went to the PI forum to read the post and from what I could see he pretty much made a post that seemed to have no reason to it that I could see unless he was just trying to provoke an argument. Eric Foster posted a response and frankly he was much nicer than I probably would have been. Kudos to him for exercising restraint. So anyway, out of curiosity, I clicked on the poster's name to see what other posts he had made and I read them and some of those also seemed like an invitation to an argument. I think he was either looking to get a rise out of people or just couldn't express himself clearly enough to say what was bothering him. He then followed kered over to this forum trying to get him into an argument by calling him names in a thread about pin pointers. I think that post was deleted. Anyway, I clicked on his name again a little while ago and it appears that he is no longer with us. The whole thing is kind of puzzling but he certainly was insulting to Eric Foster and kered. Really too bad. --Jerry

Yes i also thank the mods for prompt accion, seems he has a chip on his shoulder for some reason, i reported things to HQ rather than start a slagging match, to which they took prompt action, thank you Moderators, we can do without that sort of stuff on here. If in fact he does have one of Erics machines and problems with it i'm sure he could have gone about solving them in a different manner and maybe he would have recieved a better welcome and some help

Is it just me or are there a lot more cranky people around lately? I don't mind a little constructive criticism, especially if it is logically thought out, that's how we get better at this hobby. However, this confrontational attitude seems to be becoming the new normal and frankly I don't like it one bit. Kudos to the moderators for setting this straight but I wish this guy had stuck around and defended his position in a logical manner.

BDA, I don't want you to think I'm disagreeing with you here because I'm not. But I read all of his posts and nowhere was there any indication of a reason for him to post the things he did. I don't think he had a position to defend. I think it's possible he thought he did but didn't really know what it was or how to address it. If that was the case then it's really sad and I think he needs professional help and hope he gets it. If that wasn't the case then he was just looking to argue with anyone he could get a rise out of. The posts and the way he wrote them remind me of a person filled with rage. Then again he may have been playing all along. Who knows. --Jerry

could be hes mad because he figures if something is that expensive it should just work all by itself finding what we go detecting for -gold.or as said he may be completely nuts either way wish he'd give that machine to me strictly for test purposes to see if his complaint is legit-I'd ever pay the shipping

The OP is nothing more than a troll. He is moving from forum to forum trying to get people into a fight. Best thing to do is have a mod delete thier account and be done with it. After a few re-registrations, they will give up and go away.
