Hello....
I'm a newbie to this forum haven't posted much here, allow me to introduce myself.... KCK
I am a detectorist in training. I have read some of the stuff that people are saying about the F4 machines.
Very interesting reads.
Love those updates on the F4 and the F75 machines?
Does anyone know who will be shipping the first F75's and when.

I noticed Kellyco's Ad is everywhere on the Internet, Pops up all the time in the Metal Detecting Forums, it's them and Whites all the time.
I noticed that Kellyco has a special promotion going on them $935.00.
Anyone else heard of any good deals on them? And is December still a go for a ship date?

Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks for the great F4 Update Bill :drinking:

on here says that the F 75 is to be delivered in December and he's even taking people's hard earned cash for "pre-orders"?

That seems quite premature, as when companies say Feb. you can usually plan on the end of March. There are always delays in this hobby- especailly with a long anticipated top shelf detector like this one they already are waiting for parts on. Something will push it back.

Maybe I'll give that F4 a shot in the meantime- just read the Lost Treasure test and it sounds pretty decent. But they never say bad things about detectors in that magazine.

dig it,

Jack

Lost Treasure is a well respected magazine isn't it? I've read many articals and reviews that have been released from Lost Treasure, most of those articals and reviews that I've read in the past have been pretty up and up on metal detectors, depending of course on the reviewer, some opinions might be a tad optimistic but they are close enough that our opinions might differ just a tad!

I just wonder... and of course have to speculate, how the differences the Fisher F75 and that Famous T2 will pan out.

Since the Fisher F75 will only be about $125.00
more than the T2 those improvements in the Fisher Model, (If they do indeed turn out to be improvements?) would pretty much stall the manufacturer from completing the T2 line up wouldn't it?

Unless of course the cost of cross production of the T2 and the Fisher F75 (was or is)only software related.

All this is just speculation I know, but it's good speculation I do not believe that it is joke is on the consumer like some do.

On the other hand what if it's not a joke and Dave Johnson has come up with a way to make it a two detector market...FT wins right? But so do we as consumers...

The T2's a great detector, Nationally and now globaly, it is finding (literally finding) it's way into the hearts of many who have choose to learn it's way. It was a noisy thing wasn't it.

But all that noise means more infomation is coming to you about the ground conditions that effect your finds. When you learn what all that noise is telling you, you end up making more and literally better finds.

Now lets say that the Fisher F4 and F75 are equally or even better in the realm of seeing into the many soils of the globe. Or lets say that with software they can be fine tuned to the many different soil conditions of the the globe.

Well...there's a possiblility of going to a two detector market for those who will purchase top of the line detectors.

As others fade out, or Phaze out....more and more sales will go to proven Top of the lines. Sure technology will change slightly from here.
Look at the last 30 years of detecting and detectors. Have detectors changed a lot, or just a little? The basics look the same.

As the Fisher line changes with the sale of Fisher to First Texas, I believe that better detectors will become available from Fisher/FT. They know that they have something to prove. Look for them to do just that in future.

My humble opinion...
