Sunray Stealth x12 vs SEF 12x10

Hi, I'm considering about swapping my Sunray x12 coil for a 12x10 SEF coil. Any opinions about the 12x10 vs Sunray x12 ?

Thanks in advance.

Good Luck and happy Finds !!!:twodetecting:

I have both coils. I like them both.

The x12 seems a little easier to swing for me than the SEF - it might just be me.

I've found very small gold jewelry extremely deep with the x12 coil. And until our ground froze I'd been using the SEF 10x12 pretty regularly though and had been pulling out a lot of silver with it.

IMHO they're both good coils. Sorry I couldn't just tell you "get that one" though.

I've had both and they're both great coils. The S.E.F. is a little heavier though. I had to sell it because of the extra wt.

Thanks everyone for the answers, I will keep my Sunray x12, I'm happy with the Sunray.

Good Luck and happy Finds !!!
