Sunray Stealth X12 - Field Test - It's a winner!

My stock coil gave up the ghost on me last weekend so I switched to the Sunray Stealth X12 I had purchased over the winter. I just finished my third beach hunt with this coil tonight and man-o-man what a great coil for beach hunting!!!

Light, well balanced, and I'm slamming targets pretty deep with this coil. It's also MUCH easier to pinpoint with versus the stock coil. Plus the stock coils (XS/II) leak and eventually fail in salt water like my stock coil just did, the Stealth 12 is a solid epoxy coil so no leaking issues. I could not be happier with the coil so far, nice job Sunray!

Charles, I bought one and love it for fields or larger areas. It can still pick out those tiny 1/4 inch size musketballs at a semi fast field hunting pace. Seems more stable with hot rocks too. Needless to say I bought a used 8" also.

Hi Charles,

I've been using the X-12 for a couple of years and it's a winner. I also like my WOT but I use the X-12 about 90% of the time because it weighs a lot less. You can swing the X-12 all day with no problems.
You're going to love this coil.
