Hi guys

I'm looking to buy a Sunray S-12 for my GT, anybody know of a dealer who might have 1 in stock please?
Seems like there on back order.

Thank you !

Ken

they pretty much are always on back order..but i can say its worth it when you get one! iv tryed them all and like it the best! takes about 3 weeks to get one.

I think goodmoor had one for sale ask him if he still has it

Sold it a while back. They seem to come available all at once. Then everything dries up again. The S-12 is great coil. It is a nice balance between weight, easy pinpointing, and coverage. It does not run as quiet as the stock 10 " Tornado coil. At least on my machine. I have to back it down to quiet it. I had the WOT and it was just too big for me. I found the pinpointing time consuming. Everyone else says the bigger the better on the beach. But just like a detector you know when you have something that you can click with. And I just never clicked with the WOT. The SEF coils I have only flirted with. I love Joe Patricks meter mod. I have one on my GT, and I'm about to put one on another older Sovereign. There was a conflict with the meter not working on the SEF coils which I'm told there is now a solution for. But at the time I needed the meter more than the coil so I sold it. While I had the SEF I can honestly say I could crank that Sensitivity pretty high. But that was only in the dirt. I never had the SEF in the sand. I believe the size was 10 x 12. Nice Coil. You will be OK with the stock coil until an S-12 pops up. The depth might be a little greater with the S-12, but nothing staggering. For that you need a PI.

Great info goodmore!
Thank you very much :)

If you haven't already... try Ralph at SunRay. He hooked me up with a new S-12 a while back.

SWEET! Thanks Ralf, I'll call you first thing in the morning :)

S-12 is in the mail, Ralph is great to work with. :)

Thanks everybody!
Ken
