Sunray Probe on Straight Shaft GT

RLOH

Well-known member
I just got a GT and was wondering if someone using a Sunray probe on a GT could post a picture of the setup? I see that the probe switch box mounts where the meter clip is and then the meter is mounted on top. Thanks R.L.

Ray, thanks for the picture. I have a good idea now how it works. I wanted to see if the probe was toward the back of the armrest. R.L.

Ray has a nice setup, but he is using a Sunray meter. The GT meter and probe control when mounted on the V-Clip/straight shaft does not display well. It has no tilt which gives it a bad viewing angle. You can get a nice adjustable mounting bracket from Dixie MD ( Adv on this forum ) or you can do like I did and customize your own. HH Don

Don, you guys are like Mcgiver the way you come up with Sovereign setups. I got to belive that Sovereigns are the most adapted detector ever made. Thanks for the picture. R.L.

how usee it is how it goes however if u get an extra both male and female slides its possible to mount digimeteron a plastic wedge to better see digi meter HH Bob Clark
