sunray or minelab coil

can anyone tell me what the difference is between teh sunray 8"coil compared to the minelab coil, im thinking about buying either one. Any Aussies there with any input that can help????????

Yeah Pete,
The difference is the minelab is locally available, reasonably priced & easy sourced. The Sunray (while I`m sure its a great coil)will have to be imported from the US, & with low currency conversion, bank charges & international freight, the price soon blows out & you face a little delay in delivery, if you have any problems with it you`ll need to send it all the way back to the US (hopefully it wont happen, but you need to consider it). Saying all this I did import the Sunray X1 probe & it was the best thing I ever did but there was nothing similar available in OZ, but with the 8 inch coil I sourced a minelab one locally
Cheers
