SunRay leather hip mount bag for Sovereign

Hi I am looking to acquire a Sun Ray leather hip mount bag for the Minelab Sovereign series detector. If you have one to sell in good condition or know where I can get one let me know.

George, a wanted to buy ad in the classifieds would probably increase your chances.These are usually hard to find.The ML bags work very well, this synthetic material bag may work better in the weather.Good Luck Ron

Hi Ron,

Yes you are right. I do have a ML synthetic bag which is good but does not have the strain relief for the detector/meter cable. I have seen a few busted connectors for those using the hip mount.

Indeed the leather bags are very rare but I have a couple leads that I am following up on.

The picture you have is the one I posted on E-Bay and it sold within hours, I had it around for about 2 years and one I got on a trade in that was used 1 time. I guess I should have posted it on the classified instead. These are excellent bag and I remember most of us used the Sovereign with the Sun Ray meters, the S-1 probe and the leather hip mount bag of Sun Rays plus some of us just love the leather trash treasure bags Sun Ray made too. Mine is over 10 years old and still does the job, in fact I bought 2 of them in case mine when bad, but looks like it wont get used either.
