SunRay Headphones

I have a set of SunRay Gold headphones and for reason they don't work of my racers both models but they worked on my Etrac.

Any thoughts?

Thanks

You have to flip the switch. Some detectors are mono and some stereo.

My SunRay Pro Golds work fine on my Racers

I have tried the switches. My rattlers headphones work. I guess there something wrong with the sun rays then.

Found the problem the plug is bad. Depending which way I move the wire it works.
Time for a new plug.

It is a bad wire at the pug as I have seen this on many different headphones over the years. I know there is a place to send them to be repaired, maybe someone can tell you were. These are made by the company that also makes Killer Bees I bees, but to different spec. I hear they are very reasonable and think they just replace the whole cord.

I used to use the Killer B 'Wasp' headphones full-time, and at times I had the virtually identical SunRay Pro Gold, also made by them. But I transitioned to the Killer B 'Hornet' which uses all the same components except a slightly large 'tank' style ear cup. I find them much more comfortable, less pinching on the ears (they are roomier), and they block more outside noise. The only other corded headphone I use are the White's Pro Star because they use the same size/type 'tank' style ear cup.

With my Racer 2 and Gold Racer models, 95% of the time I rely on Makro's very comfortable 2.4 Gig. wireless headphones. I use my corded headph0nes with my Nokta's and other detectors.

If you want to buy a new plug and install it the wiring is as follows;
white to the tip of the plug
red to the center
black to the section closest to the plastic.
