Got some money together and I want a up graded set of head phones so do you guy think sun rays are any better than any of the other head phones on the market?
Bill

I bought some, the limiter in my opinion on the MXT is useless, it does make a difference but I have to turn volume down because of blast from VCO on surface targets. They are working on an improvement for the MXT limiter but can't say when or if that will happen. That being aside I find myself wearing them more and more while my other 3 sets sit in the car. They are #1 in comfort and do a great job at blocking ambient noises, seem to be tough enough are water resistant.
The audio response is good as the others are but these stay in place on my head at all times, the others don't and I am constantly pushing them back in place. The best part is no more sore ears.

The Sun Ray Pros are a great set of headphones and I feel they are better than some costing much more. I had a set for my wife to use on her MXT and they worked good for her and she felt they were one of the best sets she tried. Now she is trying a set of the Troy Pros and we sold the Sun Ray pros to one of the local that uses them on his MXT. One of the nice things about these is the ear cup is bigger so the ear pads sit more on you head instead of pushing on your ears so no more sore ears from Headphones.
I think if you try a set you will be happy with them.

These are also great headphones and have no toggle switch to switch for mono or stereo detectors, so they work on them all. I like the heavy duty cord they have too and it looks like they will last forever. I feel the tone quality on either are great, the Sun Ray pros a little less money too.
