SunRay FZ-12 vs Fisher 10.5" Coil for Beach Use

Anyone have experience with these two coils for beach/wet sand hunting? I have the Fisher coil for my CZ-70 and was thinking about looking for a FZ-12 coil for it.
Thanks and good hunting.

Dtp...I have all 4 coils both for my CZ6a ( 5, 8 , 10.5 and FZ12). Although I just got the FZ12 about a month ago, I now always use the FZ12 on the beach here in NJ. I feel it's more sensitive than the 10.5 and it pin points better. It may be a little deeper but I have not noticed that much depth difference. I do feel that the center of the FZ is more sensitive to small targets and it goes through the water easier. I also feel it can separate targets a little better than the 10.5. Weight is about the same as the 10.5. I hip mount the 6a and can swing the 12 all day long. It's very stable in the suds and wet sand in both all metal and discrim.

For me it was a good investment. I bought it used ( I don't think you can find new ones), but the used one I bought was like new
( thanks Mark !).

Definetly for coverage alone the FZ12 coil and its balanced well and doesn't weigh anymore than the stock CZ10...As far as depth is concerned all salt water beaches differ or for that matter beaches change from day to day and sensitivity may have to be lowered and usually the larger coil requires a lower sens. to be stable under wet saltwater conditions so depth may vary..Certainly a nice pricey addition to a CZ the FZ sure covers a lot of ground especially on large beach areas...
