Sunray FX 1 Probe

I use it on both my F 70 and F 75. Works great. Acts just like a small coil. Whatever setting you have on your detector will be reflected in how the probe works. All metal, or disc. mode. Just like your big coil. Has very good depth, although is affected by the sensitivity setting of your detector. Only downside I see is the addition of some weight, but it is welll balanced by where it is positioned. I'd recommend it unless you have multiple detectors. Then I'd go with a quality hand held probe that can get equal depth (two to three inches, depending on sensitivity setting).

keep on diggin'

I agree with jimmyk about the multi detector scenario thou... Does anyone know if there is a foam washer that can be placed between the volume knob and the housing on the detector as a stiffener as my probe wire has lowered the volume twice now... If I pay close attention when replacing the probe in the clips, this is a non-issue... Just wondering...
