Sunray DTI 2 meter

Cache Man

New member
Sometime back someone told of a way to tell the depth of a coin if you were using a sunray DTI 2 meter, But I cant find it, if any knows what page its on or know how this is done please let me know Thanks. HH:detecting:

Cache Man,I never saw that.I have never missed the depth meter using the Sovereign.I can usually tell the shallow targets from the deep ones.LOL it can be a handicap knowing you target is 10 plus inches down.

The meter in all metal pinpoint is a intensty meter so the numbers you see really mean not much but the changing can tell you if it is deeper or not, but most find you can tell this with the audio. The deeper the target is the less the numbers will change while one of the surface the number will change quite a bit. Like i say we can tell that with the audio also once you get to know your Sovereign.

Thanks Rick, I don't know what everyone else can tell about the audio but with my sovereign its just as loud from the surface as it is down to 9" deep I can tell when its past 9",its from 2" to 9" that I am concerned about I am tired of digging 9' in this concrete ground and spending 30 minutes digging a hole to retrieve a coin, 98* is 2 hot for that. Thanks again Rick HH:detecting:
