Sunray cover?

Hi all,
I have to get a cover for my new Explorer. Does it help with the screen glare at all? I've heard those glare reducers for PDA's work but was wondering if the cover itself helps reduce it?
I've only had it a couple of weeks and haven't become familiar enough with the tones to rely soley on those. So I spend a lot of time checking the display and find it extremely hard to see in most conditions. Especially if I get a weak signal and have to check it from different directions. The screen is almost impossible to see.
Any tips for better viewing other than 'rely on the tones'?
Thanks
Tom

Not a lot but they do protect the screen from getting scratched.Jerry.

I am considering sticking some anti glare plastic on the cover itself.

Steven

Protects the screen but doesn't help the glare.

The SunRay cover actually makes the glare much worse. The Minelab cover is a better choice as it allows for much clearer viewing.

Thomas,
The Sunray cover protect the control housing and the screen, but dont help on the glare.
I use a protective stick on screen cover that is used on the Palm Pilots that helps the glare a bit and can be got at most office supplies.
It will cover most of the screen and some of the buttons too.

Hi Andy,
Yup. It doesn't seem to help, as the sunlight makes it impossible to see the screen at times.
Thanks
Tom
