Sunray battery pack and ( minelab charger )

Hi folks , i have a sunray battery but do not have a sunray battery charger. So i am wondering if the minelab charger will work. Thanks , GS.

Should be no problem, but it will take longer to charge than the Minelab battery would be as the Sun Ray holds more.

Thanks for answering my Question Rick . On that note , would you say charging the battery for about 20 hours would be good to go ? GS

I think you will have to charge a little longer using a Factory charger for the Sun Ray pack. I believe the charger for the XS series was around 50 MHa and the Sun Ray as around 1300 MHa so it will take 26 hours at least from drained battery to a fully charged one.
Now many of us use a charger that charges faster and will go to a trickle charges when the battery is charged. I believe it is around $20 for this charger and is sold by Only Batteries and looked at a new one in stock and the put out 700 MHa so it would take around 2 hours to fully charge one.
