Sunny here today but bitterly cold with a stiff breeze. Supposed to have a dry day or two coming up if it only warms up a bit so I can get out.

It better warm up.....I go into my first shift at that paper mill at the mouth of the Cowlitz in the a.m. and I know I am walking into a nightmare. Frozen and busted pipes. Air lines filled with ice means machinery wont work. (we are too old fashion to have water seperators in our compressed air) Frozen wood chips trying to go up a frozen conveyor belt just slide back downhill creating a mountain of chips (and work).
Frozen weather is a nightmare for more than just detecting.

You have my deepest sympathy bud. If I was still working I'd be skating on icy floors inside a big, wide-open high rise 50 stories up with wind, rain, or snow blowing straight through it. Sounds like you have a real picnic awaiting you.
