I hit the beach and was hopint got get wet..... but it was just nasty out there. Headed back to the Jeep and got the Explorer to do a few hours of sand hunting. The sea weed was everywhere and for some reason the SE didnt care much for it and would false a bit going over it. Did a rather large beach both dry and wet sand with move of the jewelry coming out of the dry sand. I ended with a little over $5 in change.... from the left..... a SS ring, a nice heavy .925 onyx ring, class ring 10K from a local school 2014 graduate. Ive given back 3 already this year this will be the 4th should easily be able fine its owner. Junk dolphin ring, and the last three are .925 silver earrings. Hunting right now will start to get even harder with everyone gone and the kids back in school. So this wasnt bad for 6 hours in the sun shine.

Nice to see ya' postin' Dew:thumbup:

Good luck on finding the owner of the ring...I'm sure it will be appreciated.:beers:

Thanks Bryce.... you hate to let loose of that much gold, but for those still in HS i feel obligated to try and track them down. This ring is for Cranberry SH in PA and ive already sent an Email to the Principal. Thats always seems to be the best way. As you can tell ..... the SE likes silver no matter if its coins or jewelry. That class ring was 12 inches down in wet sand and easily heard.

Nice saves and good luck returning the ring bud.

Thanks Darrell, hopefully its as simple as the last ones. Class rings of those still in school is something my wife insists i return. I rarely posted my dirt digging finds, but i think the Explorer is an over looked machine with a lot of capabilities on the dry and wet sand and we just dont hear many using it.

Nice work Dew. Your efforts in returning the ring creates the good publicity this hobby needs badly and it's just an all around selfless gesture. Thank you! JJ

Congratulations Dew.........:clapping:
