Sunny Day Coin Popping :detecting:

Had some time to kill, so I forfeited a nap for a clad hunt. Here's about 3 hours worth using my Pro Pointer, My Pro Detector and my Pro Screwdriver. What an awesome team;)

Hello, do not understand what the screwdriver Pro, do you use it to dig in surface?
Or will this by removing the screws on the planet?
You always do very good tours, congratulations :clapping:

best regards

Nice work John.:clapping:..detecting is about as relaxing as a nap anyway... I'm heading out on a mega clad stab today myself...Hey Senda, some of us use screwdrivers to locate coins dropped on sportsfields or in parks where hole digging would not be cool. They are the fastest way to get a target if it is not too deep, and do no damage at all to the grass.

I refrain from using a digger as much as possible. The screwdriver first locates the coin when I tap it into the ground where the Pro Pointer has beeped, then I insert the screwdriver beside & under the coin, then force it up through the ground. If the coin is somewhat shallow,it sometimes pops out and flies into the air. When you get real good, you suddenly drop the screwdriver and and catch the coin in mid air. It looks impressive to bystanders

I like the long screw driver idea. I went to harbor freight and bought a long screw driver, then spent a little time on the grinder to smooth all the shart edges. I guess you could say, I am a coin popper too.

I'm very curious about using a screwdriver too. I'm clear on the popping part and using a ProPointer to pinpoint the coin, but how do you locate a buried coin finely enough to pop it just by sticking the driver in the ground?
