Sunday's outing. Today snow. Good day for posting. Nothing special.

They bought up some more houses to build the new hi-way, which means there is more for me to MD. The bad thing is the houses are newer on this side of the road project. Good thing is I don't have to ask to MD them. I have been doing this for two years now. All the cops know me and stop and ask how I am doing. Most people think I work for the state, because when I wasn't working I was out here most everyday. The other end of the project yielded lots of tokens, IH, Shielded, V-nickels, and Mercuries. I only saw one other person MD'ing one time. He didn't have a clue to what he was doing.

This was the oldest house on the street that was occupied two weeks ago. Anyone need a satellite dish?

This is a view down the street. There are about ten more houses to MD on this street. When they tear down the houses and grade the soil, the MD'ing gets really good.:detecting:

There were snow ferries so I put a freezer bag over the display box. Today the ground is covered. Good time to write these long posts. This was my best find. Sometimes I find a gold ring at these places, but today was silver.

I need to invest in a mandrill.

This is my total minus the three nasty wheat's I found which is still soaking in peroxide. The oldest one was 1917. There is a good luck charm with a star on the front and a shamrock on the back. Also clothes weight, fishing weight and some clad.

I like the Celtic ring. Probably looted in England by one of my Viking ancestors and left behind in W.VA when he was on a long explore.

How long do these highway projects last? Will the houses be there for a week - or a year?

I have a bottle of peroxide which is supposedly much stronger than the pharmaceutical grade stuff. I buy mine at those beauty parlors that sell supplies. This stuff will bleach your hair and burn your skin. I hope it works on a couple of my coins, I had forgotten all about it.

Thanks for the reminder

I think they said the road would be done in 2011. The houses should be down by summer.

I told you they have a town with your name on it in WV.

You mean they have town named "Big Fat Stupid Ostentatious Ex-Hippie" there in WVa?

Small world, aint it?
