You may not see a post on the monday hunt, as I did not get a ring. Huntress goes on strike when I don't get a ring or a nice piece of jewelry. She will be excited to see the Avon unit though, as she's a rep. The big unit, who knows, but if I had to guess, Arian Nation or KKK. It looks kinda redneck with the swastica and all. Do not fully understand their symbolism. You might check it out for yourself. Is it silver or what? I don't like it! Melt that sucker! You may have enough silver for a nice .999 fine bar. I'll send some in if U do. I think that I have enough for a 10OZ bar. I think it would be cool just to have 1 to play with. Mosta my silver is ghetto anyway!

The swastika was adpoted by the Nazis in recent history but it is a symbol that has been used before recorded history in other cultures around the globe. The Nazis actually stole it from the Hindus as part of their obsession with mysticism.
Native Peoples have used the swastika as a symbol long before the arrival of the White Man in North America. You will find it in the southwest tribes as well as the Iroquois and Algonquins. The rattlesnake motif ties in with that as well.

The line would be attached to one of the 3 loops. There are several different ways these are used here in New England. One of the ways is attaching the line to one loop, the sinker on several feet of line to the next loop and the hook also on several feet of line on the 3rd loop. The purpose of this set up is to hold the line in position on the bottom of the water with the sinker while the hook and bait can float at a different level especially in rivers. Also 2 hook setups can be used with this in certain types of fishing (mostly saltwater). Different types of fish feed at different levels in the water.

The interesting part of this is that the symbol represents the same thing in India as it does to Native Peoples, essentially it represents the wheel of life.
Odd that the same symbol would mean the same thing to two cultures that apparently never had any contact in prehistory, at least according to current archeological theories.

Hmmmm??
