Here's my find for the day. I did have a few pieces of junk that went into the garbage can. A friend told me that the "FIRESTONE" item is a clothes hanger that fits on your back window. How interesting! 2 Rosies 1947 & 1951. Hey, at least it's silver.

I was using the MXT Pro and the 950 coil in coin and jewelry.

Wow. That is a good haul I think.
Silver, a car, Firestone Clothes Hanger, and is that a key to load the spring of a mantle clock!?
Looks like a lot of fun with the MXT Pro in the field.

Glad to see that you and the Pro are getting to know each other better. I've been out doing some experimenting with my 'new' MXT All Pro. Tried a little micro jewelry hunting in prospecting mode in a large sand play area with the 5.3 coil on it. Didn't have a lot of time but did turn up a very fine chain, necklace length, and some costume jewelry. Necklace has the look of sterling, but I cant find a stamp on the teeny, tiny clasp. After this, I have no doubt the MXT will find gold nuggets if I ever get the hankering to do so. Nevada is just a few hours away. I have to admit, I enjoyed the 'micro' hunting more than I thought I would. I've always been an old coins and tokens guy, so the jewelry thing is new to me.

I agree it would be nice to see more people posting, but it seems that the neon lights are blinking over some of the newer models out there and eyes are elsewhere. Some whisperings that White's will discontinue the MXT these next couple months as they introduce a new model. If so, I'm glad i have a good one.

That's great Rich. I've always liked to hunt the volleyball sand pits. You did good with your 5.3 coil. It's a good little coil for getting the small items. Do you have a jeweler's loupe? If not, I would invest in one. They come in so handy. Honestly, I think we use ours at least a couple times a week. Congratulations on your finds.

No jewelers loop. Just an old Nikon camera lens that has been serving the purpose for a long time. I assume there would be a 925 stamp on it even with the tiny clasp if it was sterling. Likely just plated.

Regardless, I am impressed with the versatility of the MXT to step from coins to relic hunting to micro jewelry without missing a beat.
