Sundays Hunt

Got out Sunday for about 3 hrs. with the Yeller Feller and went to the same spot I went Sat. afternoon that produced a couple of wheats and an old cruddy nickle. This hunt came up with the exact same results, a '25 wheat, a 42 wheat and a '51 cruddy nickle. Wish I could post a pic of the coins, but I'm still soaking the crud of with some lemon juice. But here's a pic of where the '25 wheat came from at about 6". I was sure hoping the was a silver coin there, but it was not to be. Also scarfed up 28 newer coins, too!!

John,
Did you clean the nickels with the pennies? Is that why they look copperish?
Kevin

No, that's just that I didn't let them tumble long enough. After I soaked the black crud off, they looked rusty. Will probably give them another tumble when I got more nickles to go with them.
