Sundays finds

I met up with park pirate and Ed (upstate) this morning at the park. All I could come up with was a wheat penny and a school bus token, just couldn't get a good signal to save my life. Stopped for a coffee/lunch break and relocated to a different park and had a little better luck with the 1880 Indian and the 18?? shield nickel.

Three more beauties, Butch! Talk about couldn't get a good signal, I hit the old college football above town. I'm not sure exactly when they built the new one nearer the campus, but it's the police academy. I think that's the most walking I've done between signals, and then you dig 6" in rock hard clay to find that it's a 1997 dime. I could have used your token for bus fare home :beers:

Just a School bus token and a wheat penny aint to bad for most of us  Congrats on your other efforts

Tokens are cool.Nice finds. What are those nickels made of?

Nice keepers Butch! If I was close by, I'd come help clean out that park :) HH!
