Sundays finds...

Well water season ended, so I dusted off the old MXT and fired it up the last 2 Sundays. 2 weeks ago I got 3 flat buttons and a thimble. This past Sunday I got a nice 1883 Indian Head and a Conn. Copper (1786-87). The place I hunt has been pounded for years, but still gives up a good target here and there. I love seeing the high numbers on the meter!!!Man it feels good to dig dirt again. LOL

Great to see you getting out again. Super finds and I love to find those old thimbles. Do you have any pictures of it? I've only found one silver one and about 4 of the cheaper versions. Still a cool find in my book. Love the old Indian and the other coin. I've never heard off the Conn. Copper coin before. Larry just gave me a history lesson on them.. Cool finds! HH, Nancy
