Sundays Finds..~Small Tribe..Old Merc..Fake Gold~

Sunday BadJim and I went to Findlay, Ohio to do some door knocking.....had a forum member who lives there tell me getting permission there is impossible, so I felt the need to go there and see for myself. I knocked on a lot of doors and most people weren't home. Did catch a couple people home and first got permission at a large brick home, corner lot. This place looked awesome....but it was obvious it had been hunted, there was barely even clad in the yard, got one stinking wheat, big disappointment there.

We hit another place and Jim scored some goodies, I think couple indians and the CW store card. I walked away with my tail between my legs, couldn't get a decent signal to save my life.

We hit one last place and the tables quickly turned, there Jim said he couldn't get a solid signal and all the goodies seemed to show up under my coil, got a few old wheats, 3 injuns, two fake gold,..., but old items, ring and broken necklace with charm. And lastly I got a nice shape early date merc, 1917. So that yard totally saved my day!

When you're willing to go the extra mile in this hobby the average day can really turn itself into a great one.
Congrats on the Indians and the silver! HH

You always seem to "kill it" Terry! I wish I could find as many silvers as you do. When I grow up, I want to be just like......

Sunday sure turned into a "nice day" for you! Congratulations!
