Went back to the same park we have been hunting for 3 weeks now and managed a 1939 Merc and 1946 and 1950S wheats.
Also found the 14K Italy chain on this hunt...It is posted below. chain is 13 grams.

HH,

I dont know how much you hunt, or how long you have been at this sport, but those numbers and the finds you are putting up are pretty dang good!:clapping: Whats the details behind that chain find? In the dirt?

chain found at 3" in the dirt. I use the park pattern in the sticky of the forums...It rang up between 11-13 and 12-12...I thought I was going to be getting a nickel...lol
At current spot, it is worth $328.13

I used this calculator...

HH,

A dirt chain of that magnitude is a real trophy! Congratulations! From your coin numbers posted I see you are primarily a gold hunter...all those nickels in relation to the Q's and D's tell a lot, yet I can also see you dont miss those solid silver signals either... Good work!
Mud.

My God, you are killing it. I am sure you found your share of junk to find that gold chain. Great job. I think I would keep hunting that spot for a while... KEN
