Got out yesterday afternoon with Micah (LDC) to do some door knocking. The first place we went did not produce much but a small flat button. We hit another yard and after about an hour in the hot sun we only ended up with a sunburn. After refueling with some water and a snack we decided to pick a yard with some shade. We got permission at a old place with some nice trees but not many signals and the yard was full of roots. I was able to pull a Washington out of the roots. Next we hit a park and found some clad and a $5 bill in the grass. We left there to hit another house before dark. We went to an old house that the owner has been doing some detecting himself and was nice enough to let us hunt for the evening. We both found some wheats (one someone had shot) and silver. Micah found an awesome skeleton key and I found another flattened CW bullet. It was a blast running around town trying to hunt down some finds.

Thanks dude it was fun. The button has some markings on the back. Maybe " TREBLE GILT" I can't call it How about that skeleton key, did it have any markings?

It has been a wet summer for us, but it's getting dry here as well. Hope we all get some rain soon. May need to start hunting creeks and streams until then.
