Sunday night hunt...

Started the evening hunt at around 7p into a 1219a .2 l. Quit around 12a. Clad count was $3.22. The tide was high when we stared but going out. Worked in betwenn the 2nd and 3rd bar at 1st and then went over the 3rd bar. It has been a week since I saw gold in the scoop. I was mighty proud to see it.

Good job. So...you were out pretty far, at night, hunting in water up to your chest/neck? Do you worry about sharks at all? I would be freaked about that.

Mike, I was in water to my waist over the 3rd bar. It really was low last night. I'm still believing that sharks are repelled somewhat by our pulse signal. Every time I see one he takes off!

Hey Mike i have been out wth gulfhunter hunting an look around to see him disappear under water when he was picking up his scoop. I guess we are giving the sharks a scare by dragging the stainless scoops and swinging the coils out front.
