Sunday Morning Low Tide

Got up early and hit the beach at 530 this morning. What a beautiful sunrise it was. Did not find a lot but the cut is still on the beach and lots of targets. Saw Mike from a distance and talked with Shark hunter and Tony. Found 1 pc foreign coin not sure what it is.

if the Suffolk you are from is in England or is there another one. Spent 4 years with the U.S. Air Force in England (Suffolk) at RAF Mildenhall - just outside Mildenhall.

Hi David; The coin you found is from the Russian Commonwealth of Independent States. It is a 10 Kopek coin. My book doesn't show the 2004 minting but previous coins were brass. The obverse is St. George slaying a dragon and the reverse is the denomination. My reference book goes from 1901 to 2001 and it's World Coins by Krause and Mishler. Hope this is helpful. Nice find, HH
Jim R.
